3 Interesting facts about Copenhagen

1. The subway system uses glass prisms at the top of long shafts to illuminate the stations with natural light.

2. There is the idea that public spaces should be neutral which is why most of them share a common color scheme of shades of gray and green.

3. The Harbor Bath is a spot in the center of the city/harbor that is a place for people to go swimming. It extends from a park out into the water where the harbor water becomes the water for the pools to give people a safe place to relax and swim in the middle of the city.

  1. The harbour baths were designed by PLOT. The office was founded by Bjarke Ingles, now the founder of BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group.)
    Through several processes of remediation, the Copenhagen Harbour is now one of the cleanest harbours in the world.
